My mother has this. I didn’t know it had a scientific name. She has one brown eye and one blue eye. The blue eye has turned more grey now that she’s older. She said when she was growing up, in the 1930s and 1940s, her classmates called her a freak. I always wondered if my children would have this. My mom has a great aunt who does and she said it skips a generation.
However, I have four children and they all have different colored eyes. My oldest has green; second oldest, hazel; third child, blue; youngest has dark chocolate brown. My one daughter told her biology teacher in junior high about this and he said that is scientifically impossible.
    I guess miracles happen. LOL

“scientifically impossible”, but there you are! I have a granddaughter whose eyes change from hazel, to gray, to brownish. A lot depends on what she is wearing, etc.
